UNICEF: The United States Must Withdraw ALL FUNDING

Happy-Child-Running

UNICEF is the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund. It began in 1946 as a way to help children after WWII. Since then, it has become a far-left organization, supporting far-left feminist causes such as abortion and sex education, including allowing children to access information regarding LGBTQ+ information online.

A very disturbing report has recently come to light, which had child safety experts in the United States very concerned. A report called, "Digital Age Assurance Tools and Children's Rights Online across the Globe". In this report, it is suggested that not all children are harmed by pornography and it questions whether pornography access should be allowed to certain groups of children for some reasons.

From C-FAM, (Center for Family and Human Rights): UNICEF Report Says Pornography Not Always Harmful to Children

"WASHINGTON, D.C., May 14 (C-Fam) A UN agency is again immersed in controversy for a recent report suggesting there is no conclusive evidence that children exposed to pornography are harmed.

"The report published by the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF) addresses how government policy can be used to protect children from harmful, abusive and violent content online. Its conclusion is based on a European study of 19 EU countries that found in most countries, most children who saw pornographic images were "neither upset nor happy." In fact, the report UNICEF relies on says 39 percent of Spanish children were happy after seeing pornography.

"Porn fighters disagree with the UNICEF data. "UNICEF's report ignores the vast body of research demonstrating the harms of pornography to children. By ignoring the real harms pornography can have, UNICEF is playing roulette with children's health and safety," said Lisa Thompson, vice president and director of the Research Institute at the National Center on Sexual Exploitation.

"Thompson's organization, which provides expert research to inform policy decisions to end the sexual abuse and exploitation of women and children, has found that pornography can be a central driver of this abuse.

'"Mainstream pornography contains horrific sexual abuse, rape, incest, racism – all of which children should not consume," continued Thompson, and "UNICEF's milquetoast assessment of the impacts hardcore pornography on children does nothing to challenge the political narrative that pornography is benign, and as a result, puts children in harm's way."'

Following the release of this report, child safety experts in the United States voiced their concern about the contents of the report.

Also from C-FAM: Child Safety Experts Balk at UNICEF Pornography Report

"WASHINGTON, D.C. May 28 (C-Fam) More than 400 child safety experts and advocates from 26 counties condemned the United Nations Children's Fund's (UNICEF) for its recent report "Digital Age Assurance Tools and Children's Rights Online," which the Friday Fax reported upon last week.

"In a letter to UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore, child safety experts highlight research that directly contravenes UNICEF's report which says "…there is currently no universal agreement on the nature and extent of the harm caused to children by viewing material classified as pornography."

'The experts charge UNICEF with putting the psychological and social development of children worldwide at risk by ignoring "the vast body of research demonstrating the harms of pornography to children."

"The growing body of research strongly suggests that pornography can be psychologically addictive, and can negatively affect the quality of interpersonal relationships, sexual health and performance, and social expectations about sexual behavior.

"One study found exposure to sexually explicit material during childhood often led to sexual dysfunction in young adulthood. The experts say this suggests that children may not have the psychological resiliency to handle disruptive overexposure to sexually explicit material and not that, as UNICEF claims, "children's exposure to a certain degree of risk . . . helps them to build resilience."

'"Several studies have shown pornography consumption to be associated with both verbal and physical sexual aggression and actual and anticipated dating/sexual violence among adolescents," the letter says."

Not surprisingly, after United States Child Safety Advocates raised alarms, the report was removed and revised, though the authors of the report will not clarify their position on children viewing pornography.

Again from C-FAM: UNICEF Takes Down Controversial Report

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 21 (C-Fam) UNICEF took down a controversial report from its website, and when it reappeared a few days later, it was carefully edited. The report had asserted that children are unaffected by viewing sexually explicit material.

The United Nations Children's Fund's (UNICEF) recent report "Digital Age Assurance Tools and Children's Rights Online" concluded that pornography may not always be harmful to children. The report suggested that children could be able to access sexually explicit material according to their age and maturity, and that children have a human right to access pornography online and through sex education.

Shortly after the Friday Fax reported this last week UNICEF removed the report from its website, only to republish a strategically edited report that deletes key statements cited in the Friday Fax, but retains the same positions of the original report.

UNICEF spokesperson Najwa Mekki told the Friday Fax, "UNICEF's position is unequivocal: No child should be exposed to harmful content online." But Mekki would not comment on whether UNICEF believes pornography is harmful to children.

It is clear to me that UNICEF should not be trusted with money from taxpayers of the United States. United States citizens are often unaware how their taxes are being spent in programs sponsored by the United Nations. The United Nations itself is a far-left-of-center group of so-called world leaders that claim to have the best interests of the planet at heart, but are really no more than New World Order advocates and conspirators. We not only need to defund U.N. programs, but we need to get completely out of the U.N. in every way.

I read some of the content from a link that is provided in the story from the Daily Wire. I am absolutely disgusted by the horrible graphic content in these books that these children have been exposed to. Somehow this graphic content is included to create equity and diversity. Parents who objected and complained were harassed in vile ways and called homophobes and racists, by teachers and other parents in the school district. It is unconscionable and unbelievable to me that this is happening in American schools.

In my opinion, UNICEF has for decades been a cover for the exploitation of children, including the trafficking and abuse of children and they found that families and their children in Africa and other poor countries were very easily manipulated. UNICEF is not and i.m.o. never has been for the protection and uplifting of children and should be shutdown permanently.

Children must be allowed to grow up with their innocence fiercely protected so that their wholeness in body, mind and spirit, as individuals and collectively, remain protected and sacred. When we break our children we break their future and end up where we are today - in a world that is completely broken and almost irrevocably so.

Protect our children across the globe.

Well said, Lynne. I've known of the UN corruption and that of all its associated entities, front groups for a great global and satanic criminality. Not to say that well meaning people have not had a hand in the work and even done some good work along the way, which makes the cover for the criminality that much more effective.
