Democrats are jumping ship.
Once upon a time, in the day of John F. Kennedy Sr, there was at least a sense, no matter how false it may have been, of decency presented by the Democrat Party. Until less than a decade ago many American citizens, and some political pundits, believed the Democrat Party was a trustworthy, benevolent organization.
The blinders have been coming off since President Trump began his campaign in 2015. Even once staunch Democrat supporters are railing against the fumbling antics of the Biden show and his jester-filled administration.
Enter 2021, the year of the Stolen Presidential Election, Democrat Party political buffoonery, and record numbers of Democrat elected officials leaving their old loyalties behind, jumping the Democrat sinking ship by:
- retiring.
- using a GOP life vest.
- swimming away as quickly as possible.
The Gateway Pundit reports:
"The more you dig into the numbers, the worse they look for Democrats.
"Of the 18 Democratic open seats, fully one third are in districts where former President Donald Trump won or lost narrowly (5 points or less) in the 2020 election. And, that total doesn't even include seats like Suozzi's — where President Joe Biden won by 11 points in 2020 but where Hillary Clinton prevailed by only 6 points four years earlier.
"Even in a neutral national environment, those seats would be very hard for Democrats to hold. In an environment like this one — the first midterm of a presidency with Biden's approval numbers stuck in the low 40s — not only are seats that Trump carried in danger but also seats like Suozzi's could be too.
No doubt the Democrats will cheat, lie and steal in an effort to keep the House next year.
"In less than one year Democrats have destroyed the American economy, the American energy sector, American foreign policy, America's reputation around the world. Just like in 2020, there is no possible way they can keep power in 2022 unless they cheat."
Matt Gaetz says he wants Trump to become Speaker of the House if Republican win the majority back in 2022.

Here are a few of the more politically charged 2021 Democrat desertions:
Texas State Representative Ryan Guillen officially flipped from being Democrat to Republican.
The South Texas lawmaker states in the video below that he felt the Democratic Party no longer reflected his views. Guillen said he looks forward to not having to break with his party anymore to:
- vote to protect the Second Amendment.
- vote to protect the unborn
- vote against tax increases
- vote to secure the border
The newscaster points out: "Political experts say this move could be an indication of Democrat losses in the 2022 midterm election. One of the harbingers of a wave is people in competitive districts switching to the party that they think is going to win. And if President Biden doesn't improve his ratings, it's not going to look good for Democrats statewide."
- OH, YA THINK?!?

- He says it's not just the Democrat narrative that is failing, it is all 'crumbling'.
- Immigration is further displacing Hispanic families in his home state of Virginia.
- Border issue is allowing 'bad people' in with illegal guns and drugs.
- "...Biden is completely destroying the economy right now. And people can feel it in their pockets and in their communities with, you know, higher, you know, increased violence and increased crime. And people, especially in the Hispanic community, can feel it."

The most recent Dem to jump ship is State Senator Jacob Candelaria of New Mexico.
He made the announcement Monday, December 6, 2021.
Although he does not list a new political affiliation, he does list his reasons for leaving the party of swamp creatures:
"I don't think anyone can look at the events of January 6, 2021, or many of the unconstitutional acts of this governor, and not conclude that this partisan virus is starting to affect who we are as a country," he said. Candelaria was presumably referencing the January 6 federal Capitol insurrection and Lujan Grisham's reluctance to allow the Legislature to appropriate federal money from the American Relief Plan Act (ARPA).
"Candelaria went on to accuse state Democrats of pushing aside legislation from Republicans and not voting on Democrat-sponsored bills because the sponsor is "not progressive enough" or because a sponsor hadn't "signed on the dotted line where you gave up your integrity and your common sense to a political party."
"Candelaria also said, "the Democratic Party has been asleep at the wheel for decades, on issues that we claim matter most to communities of color and the poor."
"Candelaria ended his speech with an accusation that the Democrats are "deliberately" gerrymandering state Senate districts in proposed maps. "You would strip representation from people that I represent, many of whom are Hispanic, simply because it benefits you at the ballot box," he said.
"Candelaria again referred to partisanship as a "virus."
"Partisanship is a virus that's ripping our country apart," Candelaria said. "I'll no longer be a part of it."
“…No room to debate, no room for discussion, and more importantly no adherence to the rule of law.”#NewMexico state Sen. Jacob Candelaria has left the Democrat Party, upset over “unconstitutional acts” taken by @GovMLG. https://t.co/96D3KpgCuZ

"So welcome to the right side, friend, and join us in laughing at all the idiotic name-calling that is applied, with increasing hysteria, to try and stop more and more normal Americans from joining our ranks. Fascists? Conspiracy theorists? Anti-science racist TERFs? Whatever."
