What to do if you have COVID: What to do if you've been exposed.
"I'm going to show you kind of what you need, your COVID care package for your friend that is calling you because they have COVID or your family member....the key thing here is to have no fear through this process..."
1. How to decrease your viral load.
My previous videos have talked about what to do if you're exposed, and the name of the game is to decrease your viral load as soon as you can.
Eat Smart. Eat Low Carb.
That's number one. If you're a big sweets family, you have diabetes; you're overweight, this will be harder, it's going to be clearly harder. So this is a wake-up call to get into shape as much as you can. Try to eat clean.
So eating clean when you start to get sick is the perfect time to start fasting, meaning a lot of fluid. A lot of water, bone broth.
Use povidone iodine.
"I have been using povidone iodine and little Q-tips which I also tried, but I think we didn't catch it early enough. But the Q-tips dipped in povidone iodine or 70% alcohol...This is to try to decrease the viral load that most viruses go through your nose you're trying to clean it out, gargling trying to kind of decrease that virus from getting into your bloodstream." 2. Nebulizer (she demonstrates the nebulizer in the video at 4:31 minutes)
And so this is electric, it plugs in; not a battery-operated is what I mean, very high powered nebulizer....And so this is from Dr. Mercola. And Dr., I think, Bronstein who have talked about this. They both used, I think, povidone iodine as a nebulizer before. I've talked about how for many years, to help with colds and the flu.
We've put basically a little bit of povidone iodine in the nebulizer, which I'll just show you...
But as long as you don't have a povidone iodine allergy or betadine allergy, a lot of this you can do.
The nebulizer uses hydrogen peroxide (in saline solution). And so basically, I'll tell you how to make the little solution. It's online as well:
First, make a Saline Solution by combining
- 1/4 cup of filtered or distilled water, we use distilled water,
- with 1/4 teaspoon of Himalayan salt or Celtic salt. We use Himalayan salt.
Add a couple of drops of 3% Peroxide to the saline solution along with one drop of iodine (betadine, povidone, or Lugol's iodine) for the nebulizer.
The randomized prospective controlled studies on this will take many years because there's no money in hydrogen peroxide or iodine. So if you've had a bad reaction to it, please let me know. I haven't met anyone that has used this that I know has had a bad reaction. So that's exciting. So that is something that was a game-changer for us.
3.Pulse oximeter (she shows one at 9:48 minutes in the video)
I always recommend people to have a pulse oximeter. This is what it looks like. I think it's like less than $15 on Amazon. You put your finger in it and push the button. They're just going to tell you your pulse oxygen. Most people's pulse oxes are 92 to 96, 99%. You want to definitely not be below 92. So this tells me here that I'm 99. And it gives me my pulse as well. So there are two. Let me go through a couple more things that I'm going to go through what you need to look out for.
4. Thermometer
Because you want to just get an idea of how high the temperature is going.
5. Cold-EEZE : Zinc
I have no stock in this company, it's just zinc. And we're going to go through the protocols that talk about zinc, so make sure you have your zinc ready.
Now we're going to go into the vitamins that I found very helpful.
Quercetin: And I get the chewable version, which is sometimes hard to get, it looks like this, it tastes good. The kids actually don't mind it at all. Usually most protocols are recommend twice a day. And this is recommended if you're exposed or if you have COVID. So that was very good to do.
Vitamin D: And there's a lot of different varieties of how much vitamin D you need when you're exposed. Most people will say, most protocols will say about 4000 to 10,000.
Vitamin A: 25,000 international units.
Vitamin C: There's one by Mercola. Dr. Mercola does have one that's kind of a liposomal cover, which is supposed to be even better than this one, but any Vitamin C is what I actually used. So that's very helpful. And then there's the lithospheric. I haven't looked at the data to say why it has to be in a liposomal membrane to be better absorbed .... Okay, so those are the key things for the vitamins.
