Russian NHL player Ivan Provorov says nyet to woke

As globalist-marxist sports institutions make life increasingly uncomfortable for athletes with a conscience, the ones that stand up to woke really stand out!

The National Hockey League's Philadelphia Flyers ice a guy, now seven years with the team, by the name of Ivan Provorov, who is a top-four defenseman playing well over 20 minutes every game. "Provy" is a Russian Orthodox man who very politely said, 'net, spasibo' (that's Russian for 'no, thank you') to wearing a rainbow Pride jersey in warmups, on religious grounds.

Very nice to see his coach, American John Tortorella, back him up too!

Seems that increasingly secular Americans in general can learn something today from increasingly religious Russians and other Eastern Europeans too, about the degradation of culture in the West.

Both Provorov and Tortorella (affectionately called "Torts" by his peers) have to know that they are reaping a screeching whirlwind of misgendered misundertoodness of mixed-up identities. That's what makes their media appearances so noteworthy. These guys are telling the super-tolerant bunch to go pound sand! (...and perhaps seek a born-again experience or something.)

This particular rebuff of the resentful-forever crowd may not quite rise to the level of the global-scale heroism demonstrated by Serbian tennis great Novak Djokovic when he stood ALL BY HIMSELF, with no support from any of his peers, and told the world that he was willing to forego the title of GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) for saying NO to the jibby-jab. This was truly an act that may have saved THOUSANDS of lives or more!

Nevertheless, Provy and Torts are standing very tall in my eyes. Will the Flyers and/or the NHL do anything to "punish" these men? You sometimes wonder if they even really care about putting people in the seats, don't you?

It's not so much that any of us have a worrying problem that 1 or 2 percent of us might have an identity dysfunction that requires serious therapy, it's really more that we find this weird "wear the jersey or you're a bigot" mentality a total turn off - an extremely distasteful behavior for its tyrannical overtones AND undertones.

So, hey Pride Nation, just take a step back and realize you are being seriously USED by seriously flawed psychopaths who have as much contempt for you as they do for ALL of us.
