Creators: RRx Style - Tooltips - Add an Image, Make it Clickable
RRx Workflow, General Philosophy and Style
The RRx Link List is the center column of every Category page. Menu links access the corresponding Category, for example, clicking or tapping Top Stories in the Main Menu links to the Top Stories Category, where the content is.
With Tooltip popups, for Taking Back the Narrative!
We will have a more comprehensive strategy for adding RRx Links, when we have more content to work with, what we are doing now, is simply posting everything to Top Stories first.
Then, depending on....well, we are still getting a feel for what it depends on, how soon we move RRx Links to other Categories.
If something is relatively unimportant compared to all the other news, do we move it sooner? What if it's funny, or popular attracting lots of comments? 😇
So, a Variety of Intuitive Factors, including how full Top Stories is!
Categories: At the moment, we have way more Categories than we have content: Which means many of the Categories which appear in the Add a Link pulldown, are not Published.
Remember, Categories = Menu Items, so you can click around in the Menus to see what's Published, a link posted in an unpublished Category will be hidden.
Many of the Categories which appear in the RRx Add a Link Category pulldown list are unpublished—you guys are definitely helping with rapidly building enough content so we can publish more Categories, thank you!
Color: Why we (and Drudge) use black text.
A significant portion of the population has difficulty reading colored text, many have difficulty reading blue, even more have difficulty reading red.
A line or two of blue or red text with black above and below is not so difficult, for many eyesight types it stands out better.
Lists of text in red or blue causes problems for a significant percentage of people.
Our idea, is to use red and blue for things we really want to stand out, and to change them to black when....a "Variety of Intuitive Factors" :) says it's time:
So we are generally using blue for Patriotic, important things, and red for other important things. Or whatever feels right at the moment.
RRM Style Manual - Tooltips and Quotation Format
Drudge became the largest non-porn website on earth, by giving busy people information at a glance. You don't really need to read most news to know what the Daily Spin is, one glance at the headline, in our case a well-written link Title, does the trick. We have enhanced that with the blue Tooltip popups for each link, to arm busy people with information, particularly talking points for dealing with the libs and other sleepers in their lives.
Tooltips are for taking back the Narrative! Always add an informative Tooltip, and take a little extra time, this is the most powerful feature on our website. All the billions they spend on gaslighting to consolidate their rule over us, are blown away by bits of well worded sunshine.
Please resist the urge to use the Tooltip for teasers, people are inundated with clickbait. It may pull a few clicks, but it will quickly erode the power of the Tooltip if we teach people that we are going to use it to titillate them, rather than informing them. They will quickly develop the habit of ignoring them. Do your best to summarize the key points in the link you are posting, including pulling out the knives on Fake News with your pithy exposures and merciless humor.
When we publish articles covering the gaslighting globalism, we write Tooltips to Take Back the Narrative!
For example: https://rubyraymedia.com/index.php/world/arrest-bill-gates-italian-mp-demands-prosecution-for-crimes-against-humanity
Tooltip:
"SIMPLE: SENTENCE GATES TO INJECTIONS OF HIS OWN VAXXES"
"The latest call for the billionaire's arrest comes after several tragic instances involving Gates-funded vaxx tests, which suggest Gates sees vaxxes as a means to achieve his global "population control" (mass-murder) ambitions. The anti-humanity agenda is massively funded and promoted by the foundation bearing his name."
When lampooning Fake News, use the "FN: ..." tag in the link Title: "FN: After days of pushing wall-to-wall China19 panic, FN switches to more "Russia! Russia!" gaslighting"
Tooltip:
"Fake News: With remarkable continuity across the board, almost like the words were chosen for them, 10 allegedly independent Fake News corporations are attempting to see if they can get the dead "Russia!" cat to bounce, one more time."
When posting quality articles which already have well-written intros, use that as the Tooltip.
Anywhere we use other people's prose in RRM including Tooltips, we always give credit for quotes, because it's classy <3 It builds goodwill and is a sign of professionalism. Simply put quotations in quotes, followed by 'Author - Publication' below it like this:
"With delicate composition, striking details and strong emotion, five editorial posters drawn by Wuheqilin have attracted some half million followers to his account on Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like social media platform."
