It's fine if you don't agree. It is hard to come to terms with it. For instance, an itch. Starts in the emotions - okay..... How? That is one I'm grappling with. If we start with idea that everything is karma, then the itch is karma more than likely. If we have no awareness of karma then the itch is just there to be scratched and it fells good to scratch it until it doesn't feel so good. So what is the point of the itch? Is it to teach patience? Or forbearance or just the fact that not every itch has to be scratched. If you can ignore it, it will go away. The emotion behind it though, will it go away or just come out somewhere else at another time?

We say we have thoughts and feelings but most people do not think about this too much. Why should we? Females tend to handle emotions (feelings) better mostly but sometimes, when they are tired and on the last of their energy - not too well. Males pretty much do not deal with their emotions, not that they do not have emotions but they are usually suppressed. So why are emotions important? They tend to rule people even most people are of the opinion that their thoughts are in charge, sadly, it isn't so. Usually the emotion strikes from the subconscious or unconscious and the thought becomes aware of it and the conclusion is thought is first emotions 2nd. I often thought this but am now coming to the conclusion that any problem, any problem at all, is a misuse of emotion from the past.
